1921: ‘Hands off Thornden!’ Syracuse rallies to preserve its city park from building project

The interior of the amphitheater at Thornden Park in Syracuse. The park is the second largest in the city built around 1921 after a purchase from a wealthy land owner. The park has Swimming pool (50 m), One multi-purpose field,five tennis courts,three basketball courts a playground a fitness trail the E.M. Mills Memorial Rose Garden an outdoor amphitheatre, and a Lily pond.
