Wesley Bridges must rely on his roots and relationships in Trenton if he is to restore peace in the capital city. He is being tapped as acting law director, pending state approval, to replace the deposed John Morelli.
Bridges, a local talent and founder of the Trenton-based Bridges Law Group, has developed a reputation over more than a decade in practice as a bulldog litigator.

As the 59th Electoral College met at the Statehouse in Trenton, New Jersey Chief Justice Stuart Rabner
swore in the electors.
“We are privileged as New Jersey electors to select the overwhelming choice of the voters in our great state,” Murphy said.
The electors backed Biden and then Vice President-elect Kamala Harris in separate voice votes, and then filled out paper ballots. Applause followed when Murphy announced the results.
The electors were chosen in the Nov. 3 election. Biden polled 57% of the vote in New Jersey to 41% for President Donald Trump.

NEW JERSEY - The college that gives no diplomas met in the Garden State Monday and pledged all 14 votes to the president/vice president ticket of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
