Edutainment Licensing has launched its own branded TV channel, a new AVOD channel that will feature shows from across its portfolio. The new channel has been launched in partnership with VixiTV and accessed via a new app called Kiddo.
The AVOD channel is already available to download on all LG and Samsung Smart TVs, Amazon Fire and was lately released via GooglePlay for both mobile Android devices and TVs.
“Covid-19 has boosted online content consumption and we were delighted to partner with Vixi to create our own app and to be able to offer this an additional source of revenue for our Producers,” said Denise Deane, owner of Edutainment Licensing.

Edutainment Licensing has secured a partnership with Redan to bring the NSPCC’s Buddy and Pantosaurus brands to the publisher’s leading children’s magazines.
In a campaign kicking off on March 4th this year, Buddy will feature in the Fun To Learn Friends and Sparkle World titles from Redan Publishing, while Pantosaurus will feature in the Fun To Learn Favourites.
Established in 1990, Redan is a leading independent publisher for the pre-school magazine sector with over 30 years’ experience and distributing over ½ million magazines a month.
The NSPCC’s Buddy is a bright green ‘speech bubble’ mascot used to communicate the NSPCC’s ‘Speak Out. Stay Safe’ (SOSS) campaign, which has so far reached 90 per cent of primary schools nationwide. The age appropriate assemblies and workshops are delivered to children across the UK to encourage them to speak out if something is worrying them.

The author and producer, David Lawrence Jones, has produced a series of seven read-aloud videos of the popular Super Geek Heroes picture books to coincide with National Storytelling Week that will run from January 30th to February 6th.
Lawrence Jones is the author and producer behind the pre-school 3D animated series Super Geek Heroes that is currently available to view on digital platforms across the globe. He will be reading all seven early years picture books, aimed at children aged three to six.
Each adventure story features one of the super heroes and introduces the listeners to their wider world whilst at the same time delivering a core message in a fun and engaging way that relates to the key development areas within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
