That was the second serious crash along this the driver of this Station Wagon was injured when they rolled over on the northbound lanes near valley view. This crash happened around one this afternoon. A hitandrun driver says he left the scene of a deadly crash because he was afraid. Thats according to metro police. The crash happened around 530 am near sahara and eastern. Police say the driver of a red pickup truck hit a pedestrian that was in or near the crosswalk. Then took off. A road worker picking up cones found the pedestrians body. Then called 911. Police say the driver returned to the scene an hour later. I understand people scared probably really shocking even to driver of car but right thing to do is immediately pull attempt to render aid and notify Law Enforcement call 911.
