The decision was made at a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Inter-Provincial Coordination held here on Wednesday and presided over by Senator Mian Raza Rabbani. It decided to invite representatives of Punjab and Sindh, the chairman of the Indus River System Authority (Irsa) and other stakeholders, including the secretaries of Ministry of Water Resources and Ministry of Energy (Power Division), for a discussion on the issues. ....

However, it was agreed in principle to conduct the examinations in two phases due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation in the country. The decision was taken at a virtual meeting of IPEMC, chaired by Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood and attended by Sindh and Punjab education ministers Saeed Ghani and Murad Das as well as other ministers and officials. ....
