The Evanston/Skokie School District 65 Board of Education voted 6-1 to introduce a resolution for closing the Dr. Bessie Rhodes School of Global Studies after the 2025-26 school year. The vote came at the end of a public hearing Monday on the school’s future. Omar Salem was the only board member to vote against moving.
