ICE Proves Its Worth

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has had a productive month. On December 8, for example, officers deported two child predators to Mexico: Horacio Ornelas-Lomeli and Eduardo Flores-Rodriguez.
On March 30, 2018, a Washington State court had convicted Mr. Ornelas-Lomeli of three counts of child molestation. On November 9, 2020, the Airway Height Corrections Center transferred him to ICE for removal.
On April 17, 2008, another Washington State court had found Mr. Flores-Rodriguez guilty of luring a minor with a developmental disability. On April 28 of that year, ICE deported him. In July 2017, law enforcement discovered that Mr. Flores-Rodriguez had reentered the United States and deported him again. Last month, ICE found him in the United States illegally a third time and deported him once more.

U.S.immigration authorities removed an illegally present Mexican national who had been convicted in Washington state of luring a disabled child.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers removed Eduardo Flores-Rodriguez, 33, via air operations and transferred him to the custody of Mexican authorities earlier this month.
ICE discovered in November that Flores-Rodriguez was illegally present in the U.S. after they had previously removed him in 2008 and again in 2017, the agency said in a statement.
In 2008, Flores-Rodriguez was arrested by the King County Sheriff’s Office for luring a minor with a developmental disability. A superior court convicted him and sentenced him to 12 months in jail, but he was instead remanded to ICE custody, after which they removed him.
