FOX has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming premiere of the second half of the
Prodigal Son Season 2, which is scheduled to make its return on April 13 with episode 2.08. The mid-season trailer features the arrival of Catherine Zeta-Jones’ Dr. Vivian Capshaw and Alan Cumming’s Simon Hoxley, which were both first teased during the last night’s episode. Alan Cumming Joins Prodigal Son Season 2 in Recurring Role

Prodigal Son Season 2 in the recurring role of Simon Hoxley, according to Deadline. The character, who will reportedly appear in two episodes, is described as a supremely confident and cocky Europol agent known as “The MindSleuth” who is considered one of the most celebrated criminal profilers in the world. Hoxley travels to New York to solve the murder of Nicholas Endicott… which puts Malcolm Bright (Tom Payne) in his crosshairs.

Lou Diamond Phillips said his cop drama Prodigal Son may be out there in terms of its over-the-top storylines, but it still is rooted in contemporary New York, and will address the real-life police issues at the heart of recent social-justice movements.
