McNeese adds seven-foot big man via transfer portal

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - The McNeese basketball team needed size after the loss of forwards Carlos Rosario and Jeremy Harrell to the transfer portal. Head coach John Aiken more than filled that need with the addition of VCU junior transfer Brendan Medley-Bacon on Monday. Medley-Bacon announced his decision to transfer to McNeese on his Instagram page.
The center is listed at 7-foot, 1-inch and 245 pounds which marks the first seven-footer in McNeese history since Lake Charles native Edmond Lawrence played for the Cowboys from 1973-76 after a standout career at W.O. Boston. ....
