Buying groups to unite in support of Sydney fair, celebrate milestones Posted May 26, 2021 | By Arabella Roden ⢠Editor Independent Jewellers Collective (IJC), Nationwide Jewellers, and Showcase Jewellers have confirmed their attendance at this year’s International Jewellery & Watch Fair (IJWF) as well as a range of member functions to coincide with the event. All three buying groups are reaching milestones in 2021, with IJC marking its first year of operation, Nationwide celebrating its 30th anniversary, and Showcase toasting to 40 years in the jewellery industry. With 130 exhibitors already booked, the IJWF in Sydney is the major industry event for 2021. We look forward to reconnecting and seeing our members and suppliers at this event ....
Gold Coast Trade Days sold out; overwhelming support Posted February 22, 2021 | By Arabella Roden ⢠Editor All supplier spaces at the upcoming Gold Coast Jewellery Trade Days, organised by Expertise Events, have now sold out with two weeks to go before the event begins on 7 March. Gary Fitz-Roy, managing director Expertise Events, said the number of tables available to suppliers had been capped in order to “ensure the best possible return” for participating businesses, allowing them to interact more fully with retailers. This is the first chance in 14 months to reconnect with retailers and colleagues. Meeting face-to-face is far more effective than any virtual event ....
Expertise Events confirms buying group presence at Trade Days, Sydney fair Posted February 15, 2021 | By Arabella Roden ⢠Editor Expertise Events, organiser of the upcoming state-based jewellery industry Trade Days, has confirmed which buying groups will be present at the events, as well as the International Jewellery & Watch Fair (IJWF) in Sydney later this year. The five Trade Days events are scheduled to take place in March and April, at venues on the Gold Coast and in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth. Nationwide Jewellers, Australia’s largest buying group, will have an official presence at all the Trade Days, while Independent Jewellers Collective – the nation’s newest buying group, founded in 2020 – will be at the Gold Coast and Sydney dates, with a view to potentially participating in the other events. ....
