King is joining the Board of Trustees of the Museum of American Armor at Old Bethpage Village Restoration, Old Bethpage, New York Until his recent retirement from Congress he served as a member of the Homeland Security Committee and Ranking Member of the Sub-Committee on Emergency Preparedness, and was twice past Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee where he was an effective ally in America’s campaign to confront terrorism, both at home and abroad.
