BUSINESS owners in Little India are cooperating with Klang Municipal Council (MPK) on its campaign to clean up the famous shopping area.
Cleaner Little India is part of MPK’s wider campaign aimed at preventing people from littering, while ensuring proper waste disposal.
Little India Klang Entrepreneurs Association (LIKEA) vice-president N. Ravichandran said it supported the council’s initiative to get shopkeepers to buy 240l bins on wheels.
“On receiving the letter from MPK, our association arranged for a bulk order to buy the bins for all shops in Little India. We got it at a discounted price and have distributed 148 bins so far.
