Peskin. Ill just call you. Supervisor preston. Just one question regarding some shelters that are not 24 hours, so, for example, in my district the first friendship emergency family shelter where folks have to leave at 7 00 in the morning i know that theres other shelters that dont operate 24 hours. And im curious if theres been any effort underway under the circumstances to try to have shelters that are less than 24 hours to be a resource during the day as well . Yes. Thank you for that question. I couldnt have scripted this discussion any better. We are working on that and trying to get all shelters that are currently not open 24 hours, including first friendship, to stay open and to provide three meals a day. So thats in the process and i dont know the status of that, but thats our intention is that all shelters stay open 24 7 and theres only a few that do not and so it shouldnt be too big of a lift. Thank you. President yee okay, i think that is it. Thank you very much,. Thank you

And actually its serving your constituents to have more of a micro handle on what is sort of going on in our districts, but also to be able to funnel people direct people to their website or to their offices versus them getting like a million calls or 311 getting a ton of calls. So i wanted to say that on the ground we could do that type of helpful work when i know that the city is working on a very macro level. Supervisor walton. Is there a regional conversation about cal pal yes, also on our list, yes. Id say lastly to the staff and then weve got to run. One of the other ideas is, you know, obviously former retirees who are in the Health Care Work as well as volunteers who have Training Background and are formally working with nonprofits or not, but sort of a Health Background or a clinical background. And the third is a lot of our communitybased organizations are deemed nonessential per the order so reaching out to employees from those c. B. O. S who are still getting paid. Were goi
Chairwoman blackburn, what are some of your priorities this year . Oh, we have plenty of priorities. Were looking forward to doing some Good Housekeeping work, if you will, cleaning up at f. C. C. And ntia. Those two agencies also have to go through a reauthorization. F. C. C. Has not been reauthorized since 1990 and ntia since 92. So we are looking forward to moving forward with that. You know, we appropriate in the federal budget every year there are 310 billion dollars that re appropriated over 200 agencies that have not been reauthorized. So thats kind of item number one making certain that we do that. And within that as youre doing reauthorization it is an opportunity to revisit the structure of those agencies. Times have changed since 1990 or 1992. It is time to revisit what those agencies spend their time on. I would say also to make certain that they are focused on their Core Missions and that theyre paying attention to those Core Missions. You know when you go that period of t
