Koblenz/Geisenheim (dpa) - Die Wassertemperaturen des Mittelrheins im August könnten sich einer Studie zufolge im Laufe des 21. Jahrhunderts um 3,5 Grad erhöhen. Was im ersten Moment wenig erscheint, würde sich massiv auf die Natur auswirken. «Viele Organismen, die an bestimmte Temperaturen angepasst sind, könnten ihre Lebensmöglichkeit verlieren», sagt Eckhard Jedicke vom Kompetenzzentrum Kulturlandschaft der Hochschule Geisenheim am Rhein. Die Studie wurde von den Hochschulen in Koblenz, Bingen und Geisenheim gemeinsam erarbeitet. ....
