Lisa DeSort, the mother of Azsia Johnson, 20, who was killed after being shot in the head on Wednesday evening attended her alleged killer s arraignment on Saturday at Manhattan Criminal Court.
The vigil was held on Thursday night, at the playground near where 20-year-old Azsia Johnson was shot in the head at point-blank range a day earlier while strolling her three-month old son.
Azsia Johnson, 20, was shot in the head at 8:30pm on Wednesday. On Friday the baby s 24-year-old father was taken into custody by police on the Upper East Side.
