Half a million car owners could sell up and rent this year

Almost half a million car owners are planning to sell their cars and rent vehicles instead, according to new research.
Data from Ebbon Intelligence, a new company that uses artificial intelligence to help clients manage their automotive fleets more effectively, found that 453,461 plan to sell their cars this year to save money, while a further 403,077 intend to sell their cars to help reduce the number of vehicles on the road to help protect the environment.
The company suggested that people would rent a car when they need to.
Some 202,538 people also intend to sell their cars and rent so that they can drive better-quality vehicles. ....

Licence Check launches single sign on feature for Davis platform

Licence Check has introduced a new feature designed to improve efficiency and security with its Davis fleet compliance management system.
The single sign on (SSO) feature gives a company user access to multiple applications and services from a single user login, cutting the need for multiple usernames and passwords for different applications.
Benefits are said to include simplified username and password management, minimisation of password fatigue, improved identity protection and two-factor authentication.
According to Licence Check - part of the Ebbon Group - it means company administrators are able to manage users far more efficiently by permitting and preventing access to multiple applications in a single process. ....
