New York has won seven of their last ten games and is coming off a 19-point road victory over the Detroit Pistons in which the Knicks shot over 50% from the floor. All-star power forward Julius Randle displayed his versatility, racking up 25 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the 109-90 win. The former Laker and Pelican averages a team-high 23.4-point, 10.9-rebound double-double in his second season in the Big Apple.
“I just try to be a constant voice for our team a sustainable guy that the team can depend on every night,” Randle said.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was expecting a familiar face in the post-game interview right after the Milwaukee Bucks finally snapped that ugly five-game slide against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday. While talking to the media after leading his team to a 98-85 win at Fiserv Forum, The Greek Freak looked for former Bucks beat reporter Matt Velasquez, with whom he developed a nice relationship over the years.
Turns out, the sports scribe already resigned from his post with the Journal Sentinel and already moved to Indianapolis with his wife. This left the reigning NBA MVP heartbroken since he did not even bid goodbye to Giannis. The Bucks superstar hilariously claimed that he thought he and Velasquez were much closer than that.
The Lakers have been mediocre so far at home this season. Their game against the Bulls on the second night of a back-to-back is their next opportunity to start to change that.
