TAUNTON For Michael O Handley, it has been a long year of uncertainty.
The longtime black belt instructor of East Taunton Kenpo Karate Studio wasn’t sure his business would survive the COVID-19 outbreak.
He was forced to close his doors for the first time ever on March 13, 2020.
Now the 68-year-old former Taunton resident is finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. That was certainly a tough time, O Handley said about the early months of the pandemic. My staff and [I] had to transition to Zoom. I had no idea what it was, but they did. Everyone stayed with me through it all.
