河南省交通运输厅副厅长宋华东，三门峡市委常委、常务副市长范付中，山西省运城市委常委、常务副市长陈杰，绿地集团副总裁、绿地大基建总裁、绿地城投集团董事长吴卫东，渑池县委书记杨跃民、县长谢喜来等出席仪式，三门峡市副市长万战伟主持仪式。
据悉，垣渑高速公路是山西、河南两省重点工程。线路全长约60公里，总投资约70亿元，全线设计行车速度80公里/小时，双向四车道，路基宽度25.5米。工程北起山西垣曲，与菏（泽）宝（鸡）高速相接，南至河南渑池，跨绿地南村黄河特大桥后进入河南境内，沿线经过南村、段村、坡头、仰韶4个乡镇，止于渑池县仰韶镇张沟村西侧，设置渑池北枢纽互通与连霍高速公路洛三段相接，是连接豫晋两省的“黄金通道”。
