Here are some of the topics Community Board 3 will be taking up throughout the month of April.
–On Thursday, April 15 the parks and waterfront committee will be briefed on the latest plans for Pier 42, where a park and recreational area will be taking shape in the months ahead. The city recently kicked off construction after years of delays. There will also be updates on the resiliency plans along the waterfront, both above Montgomery Street and below.
–At a committee meeting on Thursday, April 8 there be a presentation by the Asian American Federation on anti-Asian violence available resources for reporting incidents and strategies for combating the rise in hate crimes. ....
