Los gatos was a steady pouring down rain, but it wasnt very heavy. We had the wind khial wipers on the whole time. Very slick conditions on the road. But now were here in los gatos the rain is much lighter than it was. Its moving toward the Central Coast. Highway 17 is slick. We passed one of those electronic traffic signs and it said reduce speed. Handful of cars but they are not reducing their speed but hopefully people will be careful out there. We have video from san mateo where it was deluge this morning pouring rain a, who are piston dal rain that horizontal rain that was making rain standing water. There was a lot of standing water. As the sun starts to rise. The light of day appears, it seems the vein disappearing. Again youll need those windshield wipers and need to keep headlights be on and be aware there will be slick conditions. Nothing like the downpour we saw as early an hour ago. People make their living off the sea are not taking risks. Crabbers will not head out until two more day autos seas go back up, it makes it hard to go in a straight line. Reporter held the victims as gunpoint. This happened on the first floor of this building here on 40th avenue. The victims say they often leave their front door unlocked because theres a gate. If we pan down, we can show you the gate in front of the building. Thats usually locked but the residents say they admit this gate sometimes sticks and they think thats maybe how they got in. This happened before 3 00 a. M. The victims tell us there were eight people inside the building. The five men broke in and went from room to room, waking people up and bringing them into the living room. Ive never had a gun in my face before. That was pretty intense. Reporter did they all have guns . One of them had a knife. One of them grabbed a knife from our kitchen and i saw two guns. Reporter were they covering their faces . Soaking happened last night when the rain started. Lock at this video last night from civilian and daly city area. Good rain came down. It has been a while. So, some people had their umbrellas and paid attention and knew it was coming and others were caught off guard. It ised in it is understandable. We have not had a good rain since december. January is the third most dry january on record. The rain is finally here. Expect it to be spotty through the morning so keep that in mind headed to work or wherever you are headed.
