Special ties have been presented to pupils to recognise a wide array of successes.
Achievement ties for each of the school’s houses – Garleton, Lammerlaw and Traprain – were established last year.
Now, more than 20 pupils have received either achievement ties or endeavour certificates to mark their efforts.
Sue Cook, headteacher at the Haddington secondary school, said: “The achievement ties and endeavour certificates are a great way of recognising and rewarding our young people for demonstrating our school values of ambition and community.
“This term, these have been presented for wider achievement in sport, the arts and citizenship at school, regional and national levels. ....
