Kenya’s agriculture commodities registered a decline in value this week as the prices of both tea and coffee dipped at their respective auctions.
The price of tea dropped to Sh207 from Sh216 per kilo last week to end the rally that had been witnessed in the last three sales at the Mombasa Auction.
The price of the beverage had nearly touched the two dollar mark last week, with this week’s drop attributed to high volumes of the commodity in the market.
