Commission on Status of Women: The United Nations Commission on the Status of Women NGO Forum holds several days of events and discussions on empowering women and girls and eliminating bias against women, through March 24. More information and agenda are here; registration is here.
SATURDAY
Amazon protests: A rally to support the unionization effort by Amazon workers in Alabama will be held at 10 a.m. at the site of a proposed Amazon facility, 900 Seventh St., San Francisco. More information is here. At 1 p.m., a car caravan in support of the unionization effort will start at the Lake Merritt BART station parking lot, Eighth and Oak streets, Oakland.
