Etnies Expands Buy a Shoe, Plant a Tree Program

2021 marks the 10 th year of etnies Buy a Shoe, Plant a Tree (BASPAT) program.  etnies will continue the BASPAT program in partnership with Trees for the Future– an agroforestry non-profit that trains farmers through a 4-year training program, called the Forest Garden Approach, farmers plant thousands of trees that restore their soil. This helps farmers grow a large variety of fruits and vegetables to eat and sell. Not only does each Forest Garden capture carbon and increase biodiversity, but it also ends hunger and poverty.  Thanks to the help of the etnies community the BASPAT Program planted more than 2 million trees on three continents over the last decade.
