Earth Day Drop-In Crafting Every day is Earth Day at Art Salvage, an arts-and-crafts store located on the eastern edge of Spokane’s West Central neighborhood. Since 2019, the store has promoted creative reuse to Spokane’s youth, artists, teachers and makers. Now you, too, can be a part of making a difference by dropping in on the official Earth Day, April 22, to contribute to a community art project. Bring in any small blue, white or green mixed-media objects you can find around your house and then add them to a globe that will be displayed in-store after the event. During the day’s drop-in activity, Art Salvage staff and volunteers will be available to teach visitors how to incorporate reuse into their daily lives.
