JACKSON, MI – Jordan Crockett has known she wanted to be a teacher since her second-grade teacher helped her work through her quiet shyness to find her voice.
Building that kind of confidence in students is something she said she brings to her own classrooms today.
And it’s one of the reasons Crockett, a Northwest High School social studies teacher, has been picked the 2021 “Teacher of the Year” by Jackson Magazine. ....
