That i would be running for public office. It did not interest me. College i goted married and had five children in six years. That was my life. When the children were grown, the opportunity to run for congress came along. Another woman said run and he won. Founding a path that would make history. The first woman speaker of the house. For our daughters and granddaughters, today we have broken the marble ceiling. I could feel i did feel a real responsibility to other women as i stood on the shoulders of those who went before. Now, it is her turn to say run. Winning and making her speaker once again. Whoe did not have a speaker would bring extremist issues to the floor. And that is good for every american.
