I could soak up the view. That is amazing. The temperatures are cooler. As we get into the second part of the afternoon, a look at the jump in temperatures. The Golden Gate Bridge, swallowed up by the fog, and low 60s in oakland and livermore and san jose. Here is a look at how much cooler we are, areas over napa, san jose, concord, and livermore, 5 to 7 degrees. So a noticeable one, and in the afternoon, a reversal. And across the bay, patchy fog reported over the north bay. You can see visibility is pretty good for the central and south bay locations. Novato and santa rosa, the stretch along highway 101, patchy and dense, visibility less
We have had some nasty traffic the last couple of weeks, with a last delays. Right now the Altamont Pass is building over from tracy to greenville road with debris in the lanes. Southbound 880 approaching a street not causing delays. We will keep our eye on it. Here is drive time traffic, i80 westbound from albany to the maze is four minutes. 280 northbound from 101 to cupertino is 11 minutes. Developing news in labor county, this morning firefighters are bracing for another brutally hot day against an outofcontrol wildfire spreading at a near record pace. Here is the latest on the rocky fire burning 13,000 acres in the clear lake area. Flames are near Morgan Valley and rocky creek road and only 5 percent contained. Three homes have been destroyed and the fire burned at 10,000 acres in only 24 hours. Firefighters worked to save plans where hundreds were evacuated. Did you think you would see your home . I was not sure. I said i did not know, just pray for us. We left it hype. Dont know

The National Guard is joining the battle compensation the wildfire in lake county hundreds of people remain evacuated at size of the place and the danger to communities grow. Amy hollyfield . So far, 13,000 acres have burned but they are expecting the number to grow when they reassess and have the brief at 7 00 this morning. They say that the fire is burning so fast that pat of it is because it is in steep terrain and it races up the hillsides. 5 percent of it is contained. They do think that more firefighters will be arriving today. They have 630 but the fighters who have been on the wragg fire have been released and have gone through their rest period, their mandatory rest time. That will be up today and they will be up and ready to work for this fire. Three homes have been destroyed. They have 200 people with have been of have been witnessed. Everyone here is watching this fire closely. It crested the hill up the street by the mailboxes. You could see it.
Rain down toward the monterey peninsula. That is a sign of some things to come. 60s on the temps. Almost everywhere. Maybe a few 50s but a lot of 60s. The breeze has cranked up big time out of the west. Cooler out to the sacramento valley. A lot of cloud cover today and tomorrow. Low and high clouds, some sun. That looks good heading out to the highrise. As we take a look at the south bay commute northbound 101 and 280 are doing very well. And there are no problems on highway 1

We have some sunbreaks but theres a lot of tropical clouds moving up this way. We have the big fog bank but we start off with some sun. But i think the cloud cover makes it up to lake county. We dont want the lightning but well take the rain. Theres also a howling breeze. Look at this, just near hollister, decent line. Heading right toward gilroy, i would think in the Santa Clara Valley in the next couple of hours. I think thats a sign of things to come. But some of that is already moving toward parts of napa county, lake county, into tomorrow. So possibility of thundershowers. I know the lightning is not good. A low offshore.
