Two more suspects arrested in Neenah murder

Two more people are in custody in connection with a Neenah murder. Terran Colwell was arrested last Friday following a high speed chase with federal Marshals in Minneapolis. Charles Hoofman was taken into custody on Monday by Neenah Police following a raid on an Elm Street residence. Colwell and Hoofman were wanted in connection with the stabbing death of Rodger Ridgeway outside Eagle Nation Cycles on April 17th. Another suspect, Mandel Roy is already facing charges of Felony Murder. Hoofman is a member of the Hell’s Lovers motorcycle gang–which reportedly witnessed the stabbing. Colwell will be extradited to Winnebago County to face similar charges. ....

Neenah Police release more images of murder witnesses

The Neenah Police Department releases more images from the scene of an alleged murder. Rodger Ridgeway was reportedly stabbed outside the Eagle Nation Cycles shop late Saturday night. Police have one suspect–Mandel Roy of Minneapolis–in custody. They have identified another suspect–Terran Colwell of Minnesota–who remains at large. The new images show members of the Hell’s Lovers Motorcycle gang that witnessed the murder and then returned to Eagle Nation. Investigators are looking for help in identifying those suspects. ....

Neenah Police identify suspects, witnesses in fatal stabbing

A controversial motorcycle shop in Neenah is tied to an alleged murder. Mandel Roy of Minneapolis is accused of stabbing Rodger Ridgeway outside of Eagle Nation Cycles late Saturday night. Ridgeway was found dead a short time later a block over along Martens Street. Police Chief Aaron Olson says Roy and another suspect–Terran Colwell of Minnesota–were also joined outside the shop by members of the Hell’s Lovers motorcycle gang.  The group went back into Eagle Nation following the stabbing.  Colwell remains on the loose. Anyone with information on her whereabouts–or those of the Hell’s Lovers–should contact Neenah Police. ....

Neenah Asks Judge to Dismiss Lawsuit from Eagle Nation Cycles Hostages

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) The City of Neenah has formally responded to a lawsuit alleging police officers violated the Constitutional rights of hostages during the 2015 standoff at Eagle Nation Cycles, denying any wrongdoing.
Brian Flatoff took multiple people hostage at the store, upset about his motorcycle. During the standoff, police officers shot and killed Michael Funk. The officers were not charged, and a federal lawsuit by Funk’s estate was dismissed.
Ethan Moderson, Ryan Moderson, Michael Peterson, Stephen Erato, and George Fuerte filed suit against the City of Neenah, Sgt. Angela Eichmann, Lt. Shaun O’Bre, Lt. Tyron Thompson, Officer Jonathan Kuffel and Officer Marly Heiting. The suit claims hostages were treated as if they were criminals, not crime victims, and seeks unspecified compensatory and punitive damages. ....

NEENAH - The hostages who were caught in a 2015 standoff and shooting between a gunman and Neenah police at Eagle Nation Cycles plan to file a federal lawsuit against the city, claiming officers treated them as criminals rather than victims.
Walter Stern, a Kenosha-based attorney for the plaintiffs, said police intentionally and unlawfully detained the hostages as they exited the business. The civil rights lawsuit will seek unspecified compensatory and punitive damages and will be filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Green Bay, he said. ....
