CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY - A civic group in Marawi City on Thursday lauded the decision of the Senate to approve Senate Bill 2420 or the Marawi Compensation Bill. In a statement Thursday, the Marawi Reconstruction Conflict Watch (MRCW) said the Marawi Compensation Bill is the government's recognition of its obligation to rebuild the lives and bring back the dignity of more than 300,000 Marawi siege victims. "We deeply appreciate our Senators' efforts in proposing, amending, and pushing this bill forward.
