The National Football Coaches of Trinidad and Tobago (NFCTT) put positive, pro-active governance on the front burner again this week, as its steering committee met with Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) president Brian Lewis on 5 January 2021.

Discussions with Lewis centred primarily around ways to improve planning and transparency in sports administration, and the potential negative social effects from the extended period of restrictions on sporting activity. ....

Cyrus thanks Hadad: 'He lived up to his word'

TT men’s senior footballer Daneil Cyrus said he respects chairman of the normalisation committee Robert Hadad for sticking to his word and paying national footballers their salaries.
Among those who were liaising with the normalisation committee concerning salaries was the Coaches Steering Committee which includes Jefferson George, Wayne Sheppard, Angus Eve, Clayton Morris and Richard Hood. A member of that committee told Newsday at 5.30 pm on Tuesday that he had been paid.
Approximately 40 coaches and technical staff members of national senior and junior teams were owed money for various periods.
The coaches that had three-month contracts were paid in full, but coaches and staff with longer contracts received 50 per cent of their salaries. All the players are expected to get paid in full. ....

T&T coaches, players receive partial payments, with some ‘errors’; Hadad to discuss 2021 programme
There was some relief for Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) technical staff, office staff and coaches this afternoon, as salaries finally hit their bank accounts.
Not everyone was satisfied and there appeared to be some discrepancies by the Fifa-appointed normalisation committee. However, coaches and players who spoke to
Wired868 were generally happy for the first tangible show of appreciation by the current rulers of the local football body.

THE normalisation committee is now offering to pay national football coaches 50 per cent of what they are owed, going against what was agreed upon according to one former national youth coach.
Approximately 40 TT coaches have not been paid since the normalisation committee was formed by FIFA to run local football in March.
The normalisation committee is led by local businessman Robert Hadad.
National senior men’s coach Terry Fenwick is one of the coaches affected by the delay of the salary disbursement. Wayne Sheppard, Angus Eve, Clayton Morris and Richard Hood are some of the other coaches who are owed outstanding salaries. ....
