all eyes remain on the gulf after bp s containment cap on this blown out well sprung a small leak, but officials have decided to keep the lid on, for now. nbc s kristen dahlgren joins us live now from venice, louisiana. kristen, good morning. reporter: good morning, lynn. well, for the past few days the focus has been on bubbles, small bubbles of oil and gas that appear to be leaking now out of that well yesterday, thad allen the incident commander said. he doesn t believe it s consequential. the seepage about two miles from the well site does not appear to be related to the well. as you said, the cap will remain on and the test will continue. the cap could remain on until the well is actually killed. bp is now talking about a new method to do that. they re calling it the static kill. it s essentially a new version of what we used to call the top kill, injecting mud and cement into the injector from above. they think it may work this time because the cap is on and als ....

she didn t start crying today, as you might remember when she was sentenced to 90 days earlier this month, we did see her break down, today was a very different lindsay lohan, she was composed although she did look quite concerned and there was an agreement made prior to this court date that the cameras would go off once she was actually taken away and that is what happened, the cameras went off just a few moments ago, michael lohan came down from the court proceedings, made a few comments to reporters, we didn t get to hear exactly what he had to say, but we will turn those comments around. this is just a difficult day for the entire lohan family. as you mentioned, she was in court with her mother, as well as her sister and her father there as well. so quite a scene here contessa. my big question today, and really this is probably a lot of people s big question, will a stint in jail motivate lindsay to follow the straight and narrow? i would like to hear your thought ....
