First lady Jill Biden to tour GRCC pop-up vaccine clinic Courtesy GRCC First lady Jill Biden will be visiting Grand Rapids Community College on Thursday as it hosts a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinic from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at GRCC’s Administration Building, 415 E. Fulton St. Biden’s visit will highlight the partnership between federal pharmacy partners and community colleges. The first lady, who is a community college professor, will tour GRCC’s vaccination clinic and meet some of the individuals who will be getting their shots. “We’re proud to welcome the first lady to GRCC and deeply appreciate her support for community colleges and for vaccinating our community members,” GRCC President Bill Pink said. “Community colleges will play a vital role as our region emerges from the pandemic. This pop-up vaccination clinic is one more example of how GRCC and partnerships make West Michigan stronger.” ....

Kyle van Reenen, who is with EMER-G-MED, says no injuries were reported. With it being quite an old building - I stand to be corrected - but I do believe it s a listed building as well. It is quite an old structure and it did go out quite quickly. At this stage, it s unknown what caused the blaze or where it started in the building. ....
