The Mid-Prairie boys and girls golf teams are back on the course Monday to face the Wilton Beavers in River Valley Conference action. The Mid-Prairie boys are back after a third place finish at the Durant Invitational at Wahkonsa Country Club Thursday. Dominic McCain led the Hawks with an 81, finishing fifth place individually. On the season, McCain has a team leading 38 average per nine holes. Wilton was also at the Durant Invitational where they were eighth of 10 teams. On the season, the Beavers are led by Gage Oien with a 50 average per nine holes. The Mid-Prairie girls will travel to Wilton tonight. The Golden Hawks finished eighth at their home 18-hole invitational Thursday, shooting a 444, led by Madelyn Bender’s 99. On the season, Mid-Prairie is led by Madi Davidson with a 60 average per nine holes. She also has a nine hole round of 54 to her credit.
