Fermanagh MLA pays tribute to late former UUP councillor

Fermanagh and South Tyrone MLA Rosemary Barton has led tributes to Robert Mulligan, the former Mayor of Dungannon and the former Chairman of the South Tyrone Association, who passed away last week. Robert Louis Mulligan, late of 15 Glenhoy Road, Augher, passed away peacefully at his residence on February 11, 2021. Leading tributes from the Ulster Unionist Party to the late Mr. Mulligan, Mrs. Barton said: “Robert represented the Clogher Valley District on Dungannon and latterly Mid Ulster Council for a total of 26 years. He was a real gentleman, who took great pride in representing the community in which he lived. He gave of his time very generously and was a dedicated representative who served as Mayor in Dungannon District Council on three separate occasions.
