Studies have shown that dune grass provides a natural shield that is perfect for withstanding storm surges and high winds. To stabilize the dunes on TOBAY beach, the Town of Oyster Bay is looking for volunteers to help plant new grass during Dune Day, set for Saturday, March 27 at 10am.
