Pop-up Moderna vaccination clinic scheduled for April 24 in Dundee The ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital Vaccine Team and the Monroe County Emergency Management Division has announced the next site in their series of pop-up vaccination clinics. The pop-up will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 24 at the Dundee Township Fire Station. There are 300 doses of the Moderna vaccine available to be scheduled for this pop-up. The second appointments for the Dundee clinic will be scheduled for May 22. To schedule an appointment for a pop up clinic, call (734) 243-8600 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The Monroe County Emergency Management Call Center will handle the calls and registrations.

The Monroe County Sheriff says the quick actions of Paul Motylinski and his brothers Patrick, Benjamin, and Philip could have potentially saved the man’s life. Motylinski was driving on N. Custer Rd. near Baldwin, just after 2 p.m. when he noticed a man struggling in the water with only his head and upper shoulders above the surface. The Monroe County Sheriff credited the actions of four brothers with saving the life of an 81-year-old man from the area The informal rescue operation happened in Raisinville Township after Paul Motylinski was traveling down Custer Road when he noticed someone had fallen through the ice of a nearby pond.  The individual appeared to be in distress and only his head and upper shoulders will visible.
