AN Education official reported positive feedback from students and teachers on the ongoing pilot testing of the new and revised K-10 (Matatag) curriculum, which aims to “decongest” the competencies of the current curriculum.
The K-10 or Matatag Curriculum has so far received positive feedback from students and teachers, who find it easier to deliver instruction due to the revisions, an education official said.
The K-12 program will persist and will not be abolished, said a local basic education official despite an order from the Commission on Higher Education (Ched) for state-run tertiary education institutions to discontinue the senior high school program.
