Congressman, beto o rourke joining this duelling rally. a march there in el paso. is there more to this than meets the eye? do you think it might be a steppingstone towards his own 2020 announcement? you know, i like what beto is doing in terms of taking his time because i like the idea that one need not be first in order to compete in this presidential field because the reality is this is absolutely a marathon. i m, however, not convinced that beto is running for president. beto knows that john cornyn is also up in 2020 and john cornyn is at a low point historically in terms of rating wise and texas approval ratings. and beto is fresh off of a race. he could take this same data, he could run the same race he did against ted cruz over again and could end up in the united states senate. beto is talented. beto can raise money but he sees that this democratic field is packed. i don t really know that he wants to jump in that fray right now. interesting point about possibly going after ....
