Penthouse. they eat like royalty. they are the peabody ducks. they have standards. we have to serve them off a silver tray. duck dynasty, donald duck, ain t got nothing on these guys. i want them to know what it means to be honorary duck master at this hotel. we ve had oprah winfrey, even bert and ernie. the story goes the ducks were let loose at the hotel, the mallards were a huge hit. anna kooiman has been chosen honorary duck master. thank you. my pleasure. the gimmick is clearly working. this is fantastic p.r. for them that they do all the time. that s what the duck master is essentially, leading tours and talking with the media. i got this nice cane here, just like the one i saw on ....
world news now delivers your morning papers. all right. a lot of pet talk going on here. speaking of animals, this is very cool. we witnessed this firsthand at the famous hotel call the peabody in memphis, tennessee. very cool place. they have this very interesting tradition, going on for 80 years now. they have these little ducks, mallards, walk out to the fountain in the lobby in this ceremony. they walk and plop into the fountain and swim around and people gather and watch. apparently, the duck master who s the guy who orchestrates all of this and trains the ducks and speaks to the publiciche is stepping down. it s a tough job. and 100 people have applied to be the next duck master. what s the skill set you need for this kind of job? you have to know about ducks, obviously, be good at public speaking and all this. it s an 80-year tradition. ....
If you ve never been to that hotel in memphis, go check it out. they re looking for a new duck master. it s like make way for ducklings, my favorite childhood book. i love it. speaking of animals those of us who own and love animals, rob, have to say that we v ve known all along that animals are good for you. they make you feel good. now, scientists are catching up. now they ve done some research. they ve looked into it. it turns out it s absolutely true. pet owners have greater self-esteem, are more physically fit, tended to be less lonely, were more conscientious, were more extroverted, tended to be less fearful, and tended to be less occupied how possibly does that work that a pet can do all that? i have to say i have two cats of my own. there we go. there is gordito, how amazing is that cat? i like that name, very cool. and igor. igor and gordito. turns out igor is fatter than gordito. i don t know how that worked out. ....
