Marriage trio: Klemp brothers, Schuelke sisters going strong

APPLETON, Wis. (AP) When Doug Klemp and Denise Schuelke started dating back in the mid-1990s, they recall being “all in” right off the bat.
The way the couple saw it, they had to be holidays, birthdays and other family celebrations would be pretty awkward if they didn’t stay together.
That’s because their coupling marked the third Klemp boy to get together with a Schuelke girl. The two oldest Schuelke daughters Toni and Shelly had been married to the two oldest Klemp sons Darrel and Dave since 1988 and 1989, respectively.
