Vancouver island. 27 people were on a whale watching trip when a boat sank. A witness took this photo. Local media reporting as many as 14 may be missing tonight. The captain made a call just before 4 p. M. The boat belongs to a company that offers whale watching tours with experienced guid guides. You dont expect to hear that the boats and drivers that go on that route all the time, its something you dont picture could happen. And witnesses describe the water was calm today. The woman had injuries to her face, leg and back. Witnesses say the woman was on top of a 600 foothill when the wind picked up causing her to launch before she was ready.
