Blast in water tank injures five Karachi May 25, 2021 Five people were injured in a blast that took place at a house in Baldia Town s Naval Colony on Monday. The blast took place during the cleaning of the underground water tank. Police and rescuers reached the property and transported the injured people to the Civil Hospital, Karachi.They were identified as 35-year-old Dua Jan, Khayal Mina, 29, Azmat, 8, Sakina, 20, and Azharullah. ....

The police and rescue teams arrived and shifted the injured to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital’s burns ward, where they were identified as Dua Jan, 33, his wife, Khayal Mina, sister-in-law, Sakina, 29, and children, including five-year-old Zaheerullah, six-year-old Saima, and seven-year-old Asmatullah. According to Saeedabad SHO Shakir Hussain, the underground water tank in Jan’s house had been empty for the past one-and-a-half months and he had called for a water tanker to fill the tank on Monday. He wanted to clean the tank though before filling it. ....
SRINAGAR: In a heart-wrenching tragedy, three minor children drowned in a pit in a Beerwah village. Though the locals took them out and drove them to the hospital, the doctors declared the three as brought dead. Details revealed that the three belong to Narwora village in Beerwah. ....
