Police seize cannabis plants worth £200,000 | This Is Lancashire

Officers executed a drugs warrant at a property in Church Street West Radcliffe today. Radcliffe Neighbourhood Officers discovered hundreds of cannabis farms being grown in four rooms with the operation putting neighbouring businesses at risk of fire. The plants were seized and a man was arrested. A spokesman for the Radcliffe neighbourhood team said: A Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act Warrant was carried out today at Church Street West by the Radcliffe Neighbourhood Officers. Officers discovered a large cannabis farm across 4 rooms in the property, the electricity meter was bypassed and abstracting the electricity putting the building and surrounding businesses at a serious fire risk.

Motorcycle thieves are targeting sellers posting via Facebook in Suffolk Picture: ARCHANT - Credit: Archant Two males were arrested in connection with drug offences in Newmarket yesterday.  Following a welfare check by Mildenhall Police a 54-year-old and 18-year-old were arrested at a property in Manderston Road in Newmarket.  A Misuse of Drugs Act Warrant was conducted at the property with a quantity of suspected class A drugs recovered, a quantity of cash, scales and a mobile phone also recovered.   A spokesman for Suffolk police said: “Two males were also arrested at the scene.  A 54-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of permitting a premises to be used for supply of drugs and on suspicion of being concerned in supplying a controlled drug.

Watch: Police execute drugs raid in Greenwich Peninsula

Officers have swarmed a flat on the Greenwich Peninsula and arrested a man after executing a drugs warrant. Met Police have released a video of the dramatic drugs raid, and an investigation is ongoing into the supply of drugs. The raid was executed by officers from Greenwich MPS, Peninsula Police and MPS Greenwich West at an unknown location on the Peninsula, in south east London. In the video, a police officer can be seen smashing down the flat door before a stream of officers flood the flat. Photos also show the flat s door badly damaged, a knife seized by officers inside the flat and a significant quantity of drugs also seized.

Cannabis in Ramsbottom. POLICE discovered a cannabis farm in Ramsbottom this morning, seizing more than 200 plants. Ramsbottom and Tottington Neighbourhood Team officers executed a Misuse of Drugs Act Warrant on the property in Whalley Road, Ramsbottom. A dangerous bypassed electric meter was also discovered by officers and the fire hazard it posed was made safe. Police added that a person was in custody awaiting interview. The raid was reported on GMP Bury North s Facebook page. The post read: Ramsbottom and Tottington Neighbourhood Team executed a Misuse of Drugs Act Warrant on Whalley Road, Ramsbottom this morning. A dangerous bypassed electricity meter, which posed a fire hazard was discovered and made safe, and over 200 cannabis plants seized. Person in Custody awaiting interview.
