HC hands over one to police over forging signature of PMO official

DHAKA, Feb 3, 2021 (BSS) – The High Court (HC) today handed one person, who had appeared at the court to secure anticipatory bail in a case lodged over forging signature of an official of Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), to police.
A High Court division bench comprising Justice Sheikh Md Zakir Hossain and Justice K M Zahid Sarwar scrapped the bail plea of Karim Mia and handed him over to police.
“Accused Karim Mia had forged the signature of an Assistant Military Secretary of PMO and was on run since filing of the case against him and two others. The court today scrapped his bail plea and handed him over to police,” Deputy Attorney General Mohammad Monirul Islam told BSS. ....
