High school senior parents in Livermore are working to raise funds to continue a graduation tradition for this yearâs senior class.
Safe & Sober Grad Night has been an institution at Livermore High School (LHS) and Granada High School (GHS) for years. The events â celebrated separately at each school â provide a safe place for seniors to celebrate the end of their high school career, but hurdles to fundraising have put this yearâs events in danger.
âSafe & Sober Graduation Night provides a supervised and safe environment for graduates to celebrate the time of their lives without risking their lives,â said Melissa Lortie, whose son is a senior at GHS. âThis event greatly reduces the risk of harm to the graduates and the community at large when the danger of driving under the influence is unusually high. SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CA Grab your crab crackers, bibs, and melt the butter! The always-popular, much-anticipated crab feeds are back for 2021 in communities throughout the Bay Area.
Missing this year, due to the pandemic, are the all-you-can-eat, in-person gatherings. A drive-thru style is the option for multitudes of organizations still keen on raising funds for their various charities.
Do note that at most upcoming feeds, pre-ordering is required sometimes a few weeks in advance. So don t delay on reservations.
