After the death of a 10-year-old girl, the death toll due to consumption of contaminated water rose to three in the Koppal district of Karnataka on Thursday.
According to reports, fear has gripped the entire village. Reports also said that most villagers developed symptoms of vomiting and loose motions. Coming as tragic news from the state of West Bengal, a five-year-old girl has sadly passed away after allegedly falling sick by drinking contaminated water on Tuesday. According to an official of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC), the girl died after allegedly consuming piped drinking water that was contaminated. The incident took place in South Kolkata s Bhowanipur area yesterday.
