After the death of a 10-year-old girl, the death toll due to consumption of contaminated water rose to three in the Koppal district of Karnataka on Thursday.

According to an official of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC), the girl died after allegedly consuming piped drinking water that was contaminated. The incident took place in South Kolkata s Bhowanipur area yesterday.
