On Thursday, Aug. 10, during the 62nd NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals, Impact Signs Awnings Wraps Inc. President/CEO David Goodson was appointed to the Board of Directors for the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum.

Lowell Moural Sr. was a racing legend in Northern California. Moural was a Chico High School graduate who, after a decorated racing career on motorbikes, was the owner of Cycleland Speedway in Oroville, the head of track preparation at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico and a father figure to many young racers who grew up racing at Cycleland Speedway in Moural's backyard. Moural, 72, passed away August 9.
