New Canaan prides itself in ranking at the top of the charts when compared to other school districts - except when it comes to per pupil expense. Then, the lower on the chart the better.
“Where we may have been 31 or 32 in a few years past here in 2020 we have managed the expenses, I would say quite well, in order to keep our per pupil expenses competitive,” Luizzi told Board of Finance meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 10, during a school budget discussion. ....
